Insurance
3rd party liability insurance for Walk Church events is provided through PCC insurance. Events and gatherings need to approved by the PCC in writing. Cover for an event does not need to be in the parish where the event is taking place. Ecclesiastical Insurance and other insurance companies have been supportive providing cover.
Health and Safety
It’s essential for any route be to be walked a week prior to any meeting, even if the route has been used before. Assess all risks such as condition of track, obstacles, stiles, and animals. In the past we’ve stumbled on a up turned horse shoes, and a clay pigeon shoot.
