Safeguarding

Walk Church is run by Rev’d Alexander Bienfait, of 9 Singleton Road, Chart Chart, Ashford, Kent, TN23 3BA. Walk Church operates as part of the Ashford Town Parish. Alex has permission to officiate as a priest within the Church of England (Anglican) Diocese of Canterbury.

Within Walk Church we strive to foster a safe space for everyone including children, young people and vulnerable adults.

We do our very best to ensure that individuals are not placed in situations where there are possibilities of false accusations being made.

We commit ourselves to respond to any suspicion or allegation promptly and appropriately.

The exploitation of any relationship will not be tolerated. Allegations of abuse will be taken seriously. We will not conduct our own investigations, but will always co-operate fully with the statutory agencies.

Our policy is to endeavour to ensure the health, safety and welfare of participants of the Walk Church

We operate in line with Canterbury Diocesan Safeguarding guidelines and help to protect staff and volunteers by promoting good practice. Walk Church operates under Ashford Town Parish PCC. Click this link to the safeguarding policy of Ashford Town Parish.
