Walk Church Sunday 24th November 2024St Nicholas Sandhurst – TN18 5NS. 1:45pm for 2pm
Admittedly the weather forecast for Sunday Walk Church does not look that enticing for an outdoor walk; it’s likely we need to be prepared for rain. However, if it does rain, the tea and cake will be all the more delicious at the end of our walk. Our start and finish is the the magnificent church of St Nicholas Sandhurst. The route takes around some of the gentle undulating country side of the High Weald around Sandhurst.
Practical information:
There is plenty of parking available outside the church. Sandhurst church has toilet facilities.
The walking route is 2.1 miles. Those with with access to digital mapping, you can click this link to view the route.
The route is a relatively easy walk. Total ascent is just 78m. The main challenge will be the 4 stiles, one of which is quite wobbly. Care will need to be taken on a 10min stretch on a small road. The only livestock along the route are horses which are behind an electric fence. There were also ducks, and farm dogs along the route. Dogs are welcome but they should be kept either under close control or on a lead.
