With the bright, sunny forecast, Walk Church has the promise to be a beautiful walk. The route takes in semi-ancient woodland as well as the rolling hills of the Weald around Bethersden; it demonstrates many of the features that make the Weald so appealing. One of the highlights of my exploratory walk was hearing my first nightingale of the year; I can’t promise they will be singing when we pass through, but there is a good chance!
